When I was little, I had a recording of Britten's "Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" narrated by Maazel. I had large parts of it (complete with Maazel's accent) memorized at one point. I can still quote bits: "This is the Frinch Nationl Orchestra, I em theh conducter, and my naym is LOrin MaZL."

I am so jealous.

Mine was Peter and the Wolf on one side and the Britten on the other. I wonder if I could find it on CD . . .
