I just exited CNN.com.

And it seems that 99% of all their "news" is bad. What happened to good, nice, happy things? Why do people find horror and sadness so intruiging?

This week in art we used oil pastels. I drew pumpkins and gourds, and made a little eye. I smudged my hands until they were covered in layers of opaque colour. There was music in the background, Beethoven, I think.
