Sometimes, Matt wondered if this was all wrong.
Yes, he loved the music; the feeling that it brought when he pressed his fingers against the (his?) smooth surface (surface was such an inaccurate word) was simply irreplaceable, after all. But, if he was doing it for all the wrong reasons… Would it still be right?

This was pretty good. There are some areas where I felt like another/a more descriptive word would have really brought it home, but other than that, I think it's great. I love the contrast between the thoughts that we can hear and see and those which are more private (at least that's how I've interpreted it).

I PHAIL at describing things in less than 500 words, as you can quite obviously see, but I'll keep that in mind for next time I make a drabble.
