Hi. I really loved reading your Dark Odyssey entries. You can guess which one was my favorite! This year sounds like it was a little more complicated than usual. The Mabon Ritual sounds like just the right thing.

I'm glad you liked that entry. *g*

This year was definitely more complicated than I wanted, but I ended up getting a lot of thinking done in ways that I normally don't.

That sounds like a great ritual. There really is an indescribable power in symbolic gestures, and of course in coming together and supporting eachother. Hope it helped.

Even though I have studied, among ohter things, the power of symbols in people's lives I sometimes forget. My daily life is concrete, so those moments of ritual really strike me.

this is what I wrote about last year's ritual. It doesn't begin to describe how amazing it was. When I had beg for help from various deities, I threw myself down and begged. When Inanna came back from the underworld, and I was to call out praises for her I had this moment of not being able to speak, until my queen nodded and gestured for me to do so. It was amazing shit.
