Luggage Allowance
So I don't have to look it up on 3 separate pages later:
Carry on Allowance: 23c36x56cm (9x14x36in) 6kg(13lbs) - my wheelie-bag qualifies but remember to check the weight.
Also permitted a purse, bulky jacket, and a "reasonable amount of reading material for the flight." 9 (bulky hardcover) books for 10 hours? I mean you have to figure I'm going to put my book down while opening my food and I'll occasionally get up to stretch.
Checked luggage: 90x75x43cm (35.5x29.5x16in) 23kg(50lbs) - again, my bag qualifies (ha! it's half that size!) but weight is the one to watch.
A second bag, same size is an extra $48 - much less than posting stuff.
And yes, if you didn't see it on twitter or facebook, my visa came today! I am officially going to Scotland
