I paid for another year of LJ. I'm hoping that the facebook honeymoon is over and people will come back here to post more. I hope I come back here to post more. And I hated the way the side-banner ads rendered on my netbook. But mostly I just have to get away from that annoying scan cafe ad. Ray swears by them but if I hear that shutter click thing

Echo adblock. Haven't seen ads since I can remember. Awesome. Facebook honeymoon definitely over, for me anyway. The last two days of posting has reminded me why I resisted Facebook in the first place.

Also, I found I was still reading my LJ friends' page every day and hoping people would post but not actually posting anything myself. Shame, me!

Yeah, I was pretty much in the same boat of reading daily and posting, um, never :o/ Less than helpfull.

Ta! Speaking of the UK, have you spent any time at Kew Gardens? Chris and I spent a day there the weekend before I flew out and fell in love. They do an amazingly cheap annual pass.
