Yes, I know the bay area is having a raining June. Bite my fluffy white ass. We're having a rainy June after a rainy May and we'll have a rainy July and August and I'll never feel the warmth of the sun on my skin again.

Honestly, it's been raining here just ridiculously as well. It was raining yesterday, and Saturday, and at the end of May when it was pouring, we all thought, "I'm not going to complain until June." And then it was June and there's been a whole world of "Aw come on!"

I've grown epic cabbage in my yard (on accident). This shouldn't be possible in San Jose. My corn and tomatoes look like they're living in England. It's just stupid.

So, though I feel for you, and do grant that yes, a wambly earthquake here and there (with a few monster ones ever 10-15 years) seems a small price to pay for California weather, we're getting hella gyp'ed this year too.

I have...um...basil. Grown in the house. And a rosebush that's trying to take over the world but hasn't bloomed yet.

I guess this is why people in Britain go on vacation to places like St Tropez, France and Ibiza,Spain. It's sunny and only a short plane flight away.

I've nearly wanted to cry for joy some rare days when it's been warm enough for short sleeves. Like.... 3 days a year if lucky, sometimes. And I live further south...

We can have a good cry together and talk of warmer climes.

NOT telling you "I told you so" re: weather just about anywhere in the British Isles. Especially Scotland.

In the summer, Seattle gets less rain than Phoenix. Trufax.

Scotland has crazy bad weather and you chose to live there voluntarily. I mock you ;) With love ;)

I am a delicate Mediterranean flower from California! I knew not of this "weather" thing!

I'm bringing mine, though I am hoping not to need it. Pitlochry is in a valley, unlike Inverness which is a port city, so it should be better there.

Layering long sleeve shirts and a sweatshirt should also be fine, if you don't have room in your suitcase. A raincoat would be a good idea.
