According to Demandprogress, [link] the committee was dead set on voting for SOPA but due to all the work from us users, the bills Lead Sponsor saw our concerns and took SOPA off the table before it could be voted upon.

HUZZAH!

However, they want to try again in January and no word has been given on whether it will be any different
