I really, really like what you did with sherlock's name in-scene. I can't really explain why it was so effective, only that it was.

Yea, that occurred to me about halfway through writing this - I didn't hit shift hard enough, and then I looked at what I'd written and went "Hmm..." An awful lot of full-time subs write their name in all lower case, but I couldn't see Sherlock as a full-time sub, so I just used it to indicate what headspace he was in. I was wondering if folks would notice. ^_^

*happy sigh* Is it weird that a truly knowledgeable, awesomely written BDSM scene just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside? If so I do not mind being weird, especially not for something as well written as this. Ooooh I shivered at the furry vampire gloves. honestly I adore vampire gloves, my friend has a pair with steel claws in the tips and honestly I want a pair for myself. are you on fetlife? because it would be awesome if you were.

Not weird at all! (At least, I don't think so...) The vampire glove I have is itty bitty - only fits 3 fingers, which kinda sucks - but it's BEAVER fur, which is omhygod soft, and the nails are just amazing.

I'm on Fetlife under my model name, but I'm not there very often - search for Leda Locke. ^_^
