Marilyn Manson - If I Was Your Vampire
Source: his Myspace

"That song is the new 'Bela Lugosi's Dead,'" says Manson. "It's the all-time gothic anthem."
-Interview with People Magazine, paraphrased by Stereogum

I'm sure that Mr. Warner's Manson's motivations for this were (im)pure, but there's a couple of teensy problems with this comparison ( Read more... )

Uh-huh. You know the movie's going to be shite but a horde of kids who don't know much better will be suckered into seeing it - and then the soundtrack will be cut up and divided into Castlevania FSTs, stretching as far as the eye can see. (Speaking of which, I'm rather tired of singles month, it makes it too frigging easy.)

I don't know why they decided on V, but here's the explanation and here's his first appearance. Probably because the /b/tards got obsessed with V, wrote out their own little greeting spiel and then someone decided to fail. In a fashion so epic nobody else will fail as badly.

I guess I'm just pissed off at the way they flood the crap out of my friends page, as what usually happens at the end of each month has now occurred pretty much every day. Sure it makes it easier for people to write good short FSTs, but it makes it really easy for people to write crap short FSTs.
Still it could be worse, we could always get more Anne Rice FSTs.

I'd have used a different seal if Epic Fail Guy wasn't so damn epic - seems like the whole internet lives on 4chon these days. The memes are EVERYWHERE, on IRC they seem to have supplanted the Totally Original Lulz™ we used to get. Which is a bit sad really.

Spider and Scorpion is fucking win, as is the rest of Jolly Jack's work. I've really got to get some of his books and/or ebay a dodgy drawing from him sometime. It's ALL awesome.

Oh, feel free to listen, I'm just warning you that it sucks.
And that Mazza is a tired old hack who's disappeared so far up his arse that he can read the label on the back of his third-hand eBayed-as-new vampire cloak with semi-authentic bloodstains, which incidentally is from the Count Floyd collection.
