So NaNoWriMo is done. THANK GOD! I did actually finish this year, which I'm quite proud of myself for doing. The traffic from Jersey to CT on Friday and the car rides back and forth to NH over the weekend helped tremedously. I did ram in over 9k words on Sunday to finish two hours before midnight. This whole living in Connecticut thing is a pretty wierd experience. Even though I'm not on the mortgage or deed yet, it's like owning the house. So after like two months of nothin I finally got an email back from Miss Porter's School about the job I applied for  (in late July).  They didn't hire anyone for the position and are re-evaluating the department for next school year. So I have now been a CT resident for almost a month, it's been a long month at that but its been good. The commute, while somewhat longer has left me more rested than when I was travelling from closer. Chalk that up to the extra hour and  a half nap that I get on the train ride in every morning.
