the animal is a success. she is a slut and a nag but remains adorable at it. she may be gassy. definitely a smell. i can learn to ignore it. she's got an amazing capacity to be in the way, above and beyond the call of duty. i floated "victoria" but mum likes "priscilla" and i'm warming to it since it has good derivatives like "cilla." on the other

I like the idea of giving animals names that aren't even actual words, but rather sounds. Still pushing for someone to name a cat hoodydoo.

My personal choice among saints is Wilgefortis (both for being an interesting story and for being intensely fun to say) but how you would find any common ground between her and a cat (besides the obvious and pedestrian comparison of hairiness) I have no idea.

I like Scholastica, although it probably is a bad name for a kitty and her saint story is dull (prayed lots, turned into a dove BIG DEAL).
