I didn't write yesterday. And maybe the day before that.
That's because today's change was a biggy.
I moved. I hauled my ass out of LA and drove it to Berkeley.
I am now home. But it doesn't feel like it.
I feel weird.

I shaved my beard.
I'll try to maintain a more or less clean shaven state.

I am also realising how difficult it is to find things to change every single day.
I may have to roconsider the rules of the game.

That's what our lives are like I cannot help thinking.
I know it is a bit of a cliche to complain about the average-ness of a 9-to-5 life.
But I'll do it anyway.
I don't dislike it because it is 'average'.
I realise now that I dislike it because it is imposed on us.
Our 'choices' are fake choices. Without substance.
They're there as pretense.
