saffireblue suggested a fairy as a common mythical creature with wings, which makes sense.

Unicorn does not.

While searching google for pictures of a unicorn with wings does return a significant number of results, I am unable to find any mention of a mytical unicorn posessing wings. Hence I conclude that the public are ignorant, stupid, or both.

I'd like to know exactly what people make up the random survey on family feud.

I second the motion.

I'd like to know exactly what people make up the random survey on family feud.

People who work in marketing. Heh. Sorry but a unicorn with wings sounds a little like something the marketing dept. in Dilbert would come up with.

Wow, fairy/pixie is an obvious one I didn't think of. Glad saffireblue isn't moonlighting as a Family Fued survey taker.

As for those pictures, now I'm even more confused.

Blame the unicorn, clearly he is inferior yet has somehow gain wings and popularity. Never underestimate the predictablity of stupidity.

*begin rant*

It only confirms my suspicions that people are getting dumber by the minute.

A solution...

  1. Dig/drill a 30ft deep pit in the ground just outside a large suburban shopping centre.
  2. Erect a booth over the top of the pit that says "Family Feud Survey".
  3. Wait a few hours.
  4. Fill in the pit with the dirt extracted earlier.
  5. Celebrate the fact the average Australian IQ has risen several points in in only a few short hours.

*end rant*

Okay, I'm done*

* And no, I'd never really do that. But the thought somehow makes me feel a little better about humanity.

If we could get Bert to 'host' this, half the people wouldn't even realise they're in a pit until the dirt came in!

You're a genius!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that response more than a little odd.

I would also like to add the possibility of Angel to the survey... they dont exist which would make them mythical(like the bible) and usually have wings, unless you watch that shitty meg ryan movie with the truck running her over and nic cage being all sad and stuff...

The problem also lies in the way the question is worded, and the way the average dumbass listens.

"Name a mythical creature with wings"

Dumbass hears: "Name a mythical creature"

Most people don't actively listen. Hence information loss.
