Updating A Singularity and Updating Live Journal, plus a new murse.

Jan 19, 2012 09:58

So last night as I'm sure most of you know, I did some updating to my website A Singularity. I decided to separate this journal from riposting it's content and making this journal once again mine. A Singularity now has it's own live journal if you're interested in following it: asingularitynet

Mostly I wanted to comment on how long it took to get it all situated. ( Read more... )

I say "man purse." The term "murse" seems like a way of trying to hide it. "Man purse" sounds like it's a purse. FOR MEN. It gives me more ownership over the fact that I carry a non-laptop bag around with me most places. :)

That could work I suppose. Kinda reminds me of Man Bear Pig. What I would like is if we could move on to the second iteration of the Etymology and give it a unique name that means the function instead of describing it.

Interesting. I looked up purse on wiktionary.org. Apparently purse as a "female bag" is US slang. It primarily means "a bag carrying money". It is also derived from Old English and Middle English.

Exactly. The idea that a "purse" is a bag carried by only women is… weird. In a way. Oh well. I like my bag. http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/200/TB0223 in cocoa and cayenne.

I don't like carrying a "purse" either. I call it a bag.
