Can't say I'm much a fan for My Chemical Romance's lyrics... sometimes they write like they're 12 years old, but there're very small snippets here and there that work well. They sure do a good job with the instrumentals at times, though. And the vocals are impressive. Gerard Way has come quite a ways over the past 5 years (or so). Well they ( Read more... )

Hmm! Haven't heard the album yet (will in a second), but Gerard's vocals on the first two were heavily doctored. Either that or he was really sucking the day I saw them live... XD For instance, he's a loooooooooot higher pitched in person than he is on that second album.

Maybe he got better. :O

Ahh, this one sounds more like him. :O And the first two tracks are fun. :D

Still working on making The Cat Empire portable, however. :D

Ah, so that's how he did it in the first album. I watched a couple Youtube videos lately, and he seems pretty solid for a good part of it all.

And ohhhhh The Cat Empire. It's just that in some of their songs, they've managed to express things I've never heard any other group, band, or individual express before. At least, not to that degree of leetness.

This is not to say, of course, that I wouldn't buy the album (I just did. It's hilarious. :O)! Vocals seem to be getting better. Just don't watch any of the MTV live videos. Awful, awful, awful. XD
