Remember when the old Southwest planes had face-to-face seats? I used to try to convince my mom that we should sit back there, because I thought it was so cool, and since Southwest never had assigned seats. Today I can't imagine a more horrible airline experience...

My friends and I took over a set of them on the way back from a yearbook conference in high school. It was pretty awesome for us. For the surrounding passengers who had to listen to a bunch of girls giggling over Seventeen magazine quizzes, yeah, it was probably a pretty horrible experience.

Yeah, those seats were good for two kinds of trips: Teens on a class trip and a bunch of guys going to Vegas.
