BlogFace in the BlogSpot?

Hey folks. I have lately been thinking about moving this blog over to a different service, most likely Blogger. I wanted to see if anyone had any comments or suggestions. I know this will mean a few changes. Among other things, those of you who follow me as a friend on livejournal will no longer get my updates. Blogface.org, which now resolves to ( Read more... )

I would be adversely affected, possibly, if I can't figure out how to do things with feeds, which I SHOULD know, but don't.

Right? This would still be subscribable with some kind of feed thingy if it wasn't on lj?

Yeah, there's a lot of truth to that. Actually, I didn't realize the extent to which people were still using livejournal the site. I sort of figured that more people were using RSS readers or even facebook these days. Thanks for the opinion. I don't think I'll be making any decisions right away.

I would recommend Tumblr, super easy and custom anything you want. I just switched over to it.

Oooh, I like that I can use my domain name with Tumblr and actually have it show up in the address bar. URL redirect is kind of lame.

With a paid account you can actually do this with LJ - it's how blog.hyperkind.org is set up at the moment.

That's another thing I thought about... I used to, but I don't really any more. Guess my life has gotten less interesting? Or maybe I have become more open.
