This Ones for You
So I am going to do this legit vs. fake comparison of the 2012 Pokemon Center Espeon Standing Plush. I know there are many of these out there, but in my recent search not a lot of them were very helpful for me. I was not familiar with the Pokemon Center plush, so I did not know what a legit one looked like and comparisons are sometimes hard to read if one is not familiar with the plush.
So I recently bought a Espeon on Y!J from a seller that FJ had left feedback for. They were selling many Eeveelu items from the Pokemon Center, including the 2012 plush and recent Sylveon items. I thought this was a safe seller because it was too soon for the Sylveon merch to have fakes made. I was wrong. The plush came to me looking odd, its ears were misshapen and its nose is off center. I tried to look at comparisons online, and they were no help. At one point I was sure it was a fake and then reading something else I thought maybe it is supposed to have a sassy expression. Anywhere I bought a legit one from a seller on the comm. I could tell the difference at first site. Here are some comparisons.
The fake one has the hairpin on its left ear. The differences are slight and hard to photograph. There colors are similar and they are both minky. But the fakes nose and mouth is off center.

FAKE notice the nose is not centered with seams and the mouth is moved more towards the right side and off kilter.
Now the ears, legit is longer and leaner while the fake is shorter and overstuffed.
Side view, reals nose is more pointy while the fake is flatter.

OK not for something good. I am the proud owner of this Pokemon Time case! It is so cute and I love the brown and pink colors and the art of Espeon, Umbreon, and Eevee!
