Im reposting this in hopes that I can find some help.
I have two cats in my house. I have a neighbor who has been looking in on them, and someone was SUPPOSED to transport them to Gonzales today, but they had some difficulty getting the cats in their carriers and so gave up.

In addition I have friends and neighbors working on this from various parts of the country. I have pretty much been informed that if I want to get them out, then Im going to have to do it myself or find someone to do it.
Im in Chicago so I cannot personally get in to get them or I would.
Im trying to find ANYONE who has contact with someone still in the area to see if they would be willing to go in.
