1. I'm the type to find stuff written about me flattering, so I"m down with this especially if they're written with the intent to send them to the people they're about. (No pressure though :P)
2. You started this in 8th grade and "somewhat got in trouble"? Nice to see you learned a valuable lesson...
3. I've also been toying with trying to write a fairytale, but mine would be a more serious tone. It's looking at the common tropes of fairytales of old, and the history of the lore I'd be exploring, and trying to build a deliberate queer mythology. I'll let you know if it goes anywhere (I always tend to stall out right quick with fiction, social life or not :-/)
(1) Haha, well we'll see. It is purely spur of the moment who gets included and who doesn't.
(2) Yes, actually. Well, like in high school "I" didn't get in as severe trouble because it wasn't "my" story that got leaked. But I was there, writing with B just the same. She actually got called to the principal's office but, in a twist of fate, the sorry happenings that got the nuns kicked out, proved to be in our favor, since the new lay principal was too daft to get many of the crueler inside jokes.
(3) Though I don't have specific references because research papers were never my bag (instead of dates and people what's usually left is a very useful "imprint" that guides me toward what is and isn't right, much like my study of grammar) I studied many things "fairy tale" and often used it as an angle for the bigger papers. I'd love to read whatever you write.
