Maybe Im spoiled by my previous boyfriends. But is that such a bad thing? I know he did things for his last girlfriends...did i just get the damaged goods part? I found a really nice poem he wrote...for someone else. It made me really sad because the most i get is love you babe in my birthday card

It could be that hes too comfortable and doesnt feel the need to impress you or "win/buy" your love. I think thats more the reason why guys get all romantic. Also, it could be that hes just not psychic and doesnt know how it makes you feel. Try bringing it up (when gift giving isnt going on at the time), and just say how it makes you feel that he seems to have treated past girlfriends specially, and not so much with you.
