Isabelle's oldest brother. There's always been a sort of unspoken agreement that Isabelle will take all the spotlight while Alec fades to the background, and both of them seem content to keep that up in Somarium. Though they don't get along as well as they used to since Alec started dating Magnus, they deal with that.

Though there's always been a lot of confusion in regards to whom exactly Jace is related to, he's always been Isabelle's brother. He's taken their surname, and they've always been close, even though he does tend to spend a lot more time with Clary now that she's around.

There's been a lot of things to bring Desmond and Isabelle together - before the 1920s AU, they weren't necessarily the closest, but it's funny what kinds of things bring people together. Yet, even with the knowledge that they were apparently an item in some parallel universe, they remain very close friends. When he passed out in an actual coma for a couple of weeks, it's no surprise that she was absolutely terrified with worry.

Shy, introverted, and not really that well experienced in matters of romance, one wouldn't really expect Isabelle to have fallen for Remus. At first, she'd thought he was cute - the accent sold her, and the fact that he's a 'warlock' certainly helped - but when he turned out to be a complete gentleman in every way and they began hanging out more often, she decided he wouldn't be so bad. In fact, she believes that he might be the best thing for her right now.
And the fact that he's a double-Downworlder certainly doesn't hurt.

They were friends before Somarium, and they'd probably go on like that after Somarium. Clary was her first real female friend, and that gives her a bit of a higher status than everyone else; even so, Clary totally needs to get the whole 'sisters before misters' thing, and actually hang out with her periodically.

Despite everything that's gone on between them, Isabelle is making an attempt at getting their friendship back on the rails. She's still hurt that Ange and Simon decided to date, even after they both knew how she felt about him, but now that Simon's gone, she's willing to give it another shot. It's hard, though.

Isabelle likes Shiki primarily because she never tried to steal Izzy's ex. Or her boyfriend. Basically, she's a good friend. Even more than that, she's a pretty good boss who tolerates a lot of crap.

Though they haven't spoken in some time, Isabelle always loved the time she spent with Jensen. Not only was he an older man, but he was kind of hilarious. She really did enjoy hearing about his geeky revelations, and encouraging him when no one else would.

They've known each other a very long time, and though they've drifted apart somewhat as life got in the way, Isabelle still has a soft spot for him. They always had a lot of fun together, even if Haseo probably doesn't agree.
