Awww, thank you so much, hyzenthlay26! This was such a sweet birthday wish, and I'm so glad you DID comment on the Callum post. I always love reading your comments, and your offer to create an illustration or a header is so generous! I really would like a header for my website or journal, if you're willing. I've got no sense of aesthetic so it's entirely in your hands :-)

That's a big job, of course, so if you'd like a slight smaller challenge, how 'bout a cover for Wind from the South? It has bears and ice and snow and the northern lights! (This is my cover-making philosophy: "What can I Photoshop in here?") Whatever you decide to do, thank you so much for the offer, and for the birthday wishes. *snuggles you*

Miss Nos, I would be happy to do either or both project(s)(believe me it'll be a fun break from the cardiology graphics I do for work). How about I take a crack at the cover for Wind from the South first and you can see how you like it?! *is giddy at prospect of art project that doesn't involve valves and aortas*

Nos, I'm working on this cover and it's gotten away from me. By which I mean you're going to have a fair large lot of covers to choose from because I've come up with some very varied images...but none of them seems quite right yet...I'm still working on it, though!

I'm sorry for being less than timely. This is a difficult week (painful (fucking howling)installation of dental veneers, Pater's B Day, etc.).

I love a good visual problem though. I just keep thinking snow, ice, Northern Lights...

Bear is hard to insert there? I'm still trying.

Oh, hon! Please don't rush - I'm so thrilled to be getting a cover anyway, and you are busy and in pain (ow ow ow!). Don't work on it until you're feeling better and things have calmed down. *hugs you*

And if you can't get all the elements in (bears!) I'm sure you'll come up with something dazzling. Simple's better, right? I'm sure the cover will be beeeeeutiful!
