Characters: TFA Perceptor, TFA Rodimus, G1 Bombshell Content: Getting lost Location: Somewhere in Iacon Time of day: Very late at night Warnings: None Status: (Active/Finished?) Active
Rodimus didn't know whether to laugh at the irony of the scientist getting lost (he wouldn't, not at a superior), or simply cover his face with his hands and shake his head.
"It might be wise to find some place that's secure to wait out the night. It should be easier to find our way during daylight."
The Prime glanced around himself. The building closest to them should provide adequate cover on the upper floors.
Bombshell was an Insecticon again. He knew this without any systems evaluation. And there was no dramatic initiation, or bright lights or whirring through tunnels, or even 'coming to.’ He just simply ‘was.’ In his old alt form! And that was all.
Engaging his superior sensory perception, the cyberbeetle assessed his surroundings. A hard surface, sulphur scented atmosphere with a faint twinge of ozone. A range of tall buildings and accessways. Civilisation: with that feel of intense habitation. A city, obviously. No noise, however. And dark. Inhabitants must be in recharge.
Hmmn. Need to find out where I am. And whether Shrapnel and Kickback are here.
The Beetle moved off on his little wheels, instinctively following the road towards the highest concentration of buildings. Presently, his stinger twitched as he sensed a couple of energy signatures not far away. They were not known in his databanks and, indeed - as they came into view - not visually recognizable either. Ah well, must be natives. Who better to talk to for
( ... )
Perceptor frowned and gave his datapad a good, solid whack before he nodded, sighing a bit. "Perhaps..." He looked around, wondering for a moment where suitable shelter could be found, before he noticed the building closest to his and Rodimus' current location. "I believe that structure should provide adequate shelter...." He trailed off as he saw, or thought he saw, a slight bit of movement off to one side.
He definitely saw that flicker of movement. Someone was here. Of all the slagging luck.
He silently gestured for the council mech to head towards the building as he drew his bow from subspace, activating the power cords and backing towards the building himself, following Perceptor towards the door...

Provided it was vacant.
