Content: The dangers that lurk beneath the surface make themselves known..
Location: All across Iacon
Time of day: Morning
Warnings: Nasty slugs

With all good comes bad. It is a fact of life that everyone is well aware of, whether they be human, or Cybertronian, or anything else in between.
As the new residents of the restored Cybertron began to settle in, the planet itself was functioning in ways that none of them would be aware of until was right in their faces. Far beneath the surface of planet, beings of various natures dwelled, creatures that were protectors of the planet in their own right.
For many years they had functioned to protect Cybertron from any that would bring harm to the planet--the core especially--and now, in its newly functional state, everything had been set back to default in a matter of speaking. So as the newcomers arrived and began to traverse the surface, their presence became known to the massive creatures lurking far below. Warning signals set the creatures into motion, sending them towards the surface, which was a rarity in itself, though the question was, how many would know how uncommon it was?
A faint tremor would rock the ground all throughout Iacon, a grinding sound growing louder and louder as, in several areas, the beings--space slugs--made their grand entrance. Normally they would not harm a Cybertronian unless said being was there to cause harm... but with everything so new, so fresh...It was almost as if they didn't recognize those scattered about the surface as 'friendlies'.
Several of the creatures broke the surface not far from the current Autobot Base, easily making their way for the settlement, while others man for the Decepticons' location and into the inner city area where several spark signatures were scattered throughout, intent on finding and eliminating the unwanted visitors by whatever means necessary.
(Alright, all play does not need to happen on this thread. You guys are free to start separate threads if need be and we mods will drop in accordingly. (Separate thread as in hole new entries and whatnot. C: ) If you do decide to play on this thread itself, they by all means have at it! Keep in mind the slugs see all of the Cybertronians as a threat right now and are not going to be swayed by anything. The goal? Figure out how to stop them. ;D)
