My first week of school wasn't so bad. It actually wasn't a full week since it was only three days and they were only half days, but they did seem long. Especially since all the teachers did the same lecture and I was literally about to fall asleep. Atleast I have a couple of friends in all of my classes so I won't be alone, and my lunch has a lot

I've been at school for a few weeks now, and at my school, the first couple days of most classes are always used to go over the handbook. Which makes no sense, because A) we take, like, an hour OUT of class in assembly for the principal to go over it, B) everyone basically says the same things over and over again, and C) we could be using that time to learn the teacher's specific rules and procedures, because all of my teachers expect completely different things so it might be good to get those cleared up before the year really gets going. But I digress. XD sorry for going all ranty on you, my point is that I can definitely relate to the whole "everyone's doing the same lecture" feeling.

I know right? We take time to go over the handbook and school rules every year in an assembly and the teachers still go over the same things sometimes. My teachers actually went over their own specific rules and like your teachers they all expect completely different things. It's ok, we all need to express our feelings sometime :)

I think this year will be a good one though :D

It was my first week as well, but I had four full days and it felt SO LONG. Hopefully this next week won't be quite as long for the both of us.

And icons are fun, do it! :D It's raining here as well, but I have a crapload of homework to do, so I'll be tackling that instead. Boo hiss. :(

Hopefully they won't feel as long. Once the teachers actually start teaching than it won't be as bad because when they talk for the entire period it just feels like an eternity.

I'm sure I'm going to start having tons of homework starting late this week or early next week. With field hockey practice I won't even be home a lot, but good thing I have a study hall at the end of the day.

I've missed making them. XD I have kept posting BTR-themed entries and entries in genera though, so I'm going strong. I definitely have some longer ones in the queue. :3
