Relay for Life is in a week, and I want to do something different, have our team do something of our own to honor those who have died and those who are fighting cancer. Life is soo fucking unfair. My grandpa died of cancer when I was 10. I was papa's girl. Not a daddy's girl or a mommy's girl. I had to watch him suffer for 4 years in and out of the hospital because he got really sick or needed another operation that wouldnt save his life. A little after we found out he had cancer my Nanny [my grandpa's wife] found out she had cancer. They both were taking chemo at the same time. It sucked badly. At least one of them made it. My mom got married to Mike 3 days before he died. They got married in my grandparent's living room because my Papa was too sick to leave the house. He couldnt make the reception. Relay For Life <3

Aw man Dani, you're one strong girl and I love you to Death and I'm always here. Relay will be fun, and I had this Idea, almost everyone on our team knows someone who has cancer or has died so we could make these headbands with their names on them and where them all night, kind of something extra we could do. If you Relay for lifers like that idea tell me.
