Rituals in my Family

My family is very ritual oriented. We have odd traditions, like reading the Iliad as a bedtime story to kids or writing emails to emulate different famous authors. But the rituals are more interesting. Every New Year's Day when I'm at my mom's house in Texas, we have a ritual meal. When all of us stagger out of bed, we usually find my Grandfather
