So, I'm trying to figure out what it is I want to do with my life.
Student Affairs (in higher ed--and no, not the kinky kind of affair) seems an obvious choice, this job is a really good stepping stone for that career path (let's not discuss my lack of chance at getting into Grad School).
But, the more I think about it the more I realize, I don't like normal 9-5 working hours. I've never had them--except for when I worked in a warehouse. They're nice, but my whole day is then planned around work, versus planning my work around other events (which I've come to enjoy).
So, besides working at Starbucks (which is no longer a solid career choice), where does that leave me?
I don't think I have good enough ideas/drive to start my own business/company...but something along those lines would be ideal. Traveling is fine and clearly doesn't bother me. Guh. I love how 'the man' lies to you and tells you college is the opportunity to figure out what you're going to do with your life (because clearly that didn't happen).
Le sigh.
I'm in Maryland/Delaware through Friday then back to Kentucky for a week in the office.
