So most of you know that I've moved up to Ottawa and into my own apartment. I was worried that I would be scared or lonely living alone, but it pretty much rocks. Once I install blinds in my living room and can return to a pants optional policy, it'll be pretty close to perfect

Our upstairs neighbours (back when we had to worry about such things) changed all the locks to all the doors they had keys to, including the shed. And not only did they not replace our key to the shed (you know where all of OUR stuff was stored) but the didn't even tell the landlord they'd done it and subsequently didn't give him new keys... Really nice when their is a flood coming through our ceiling! This happened not once but twice, with two separate sets of people.
My real question is why do people feel like its Ok to leave things behind when you move? Why do the new tenants want the garbage you didn't want to take with you in the first place? How hard is it to throw something out?

seriously though--i'm FUCKED without my car charger!! last night my phone died after work en route to toronto, and i ended up having to spend $50 on a regular wall-charger, and actually begging to use it IN THE STORE so i could call the friend i was meeting. AHHH!
