it tells me that we are somehow able to compare ourselves, but i do believe it lies. however, i can tell you that we both hate dumb people, and that's really all we need to know.

I used to just hate 'dumb people', but now I want to have all people, even the really dumb ones, work together to solve their problems and try to understand different points of view because unproductive factional bickering is dumb. They can be frustrating, though.

How do you think it lies? I instinctively don't trust numbers, except the numbers that come from trustworthy scientists, so I might be a poor judge.

actually, i have also become more tolerant of people i would have disliked in the past. i'm not sure about the really dumb people being capable of such problem-solving, but it seems like a noble idea. start out on a small level, i suppose?

Yes, Stephen King has inspired me to become a gunslinger of ideas, probably because, "all things serve the fuckin' Beam." -Eddie Dean, Gunslinger
