So glad you cross-posted this story. It's lovely and moving and very sexy. I find especially poignant the contrast between K/L and K/Z, how Lee acknowledges that he and Kara never got the chance to be that naive and open and carefree. Also, I love Lee's acceptance of the unique bond Kara had with his little brother. Very sweet and so touching.

Loved this glimpse into Kara, pre-series and Lee's ruminations on the easy way Kara and Zak are with each other, because they have time to be.

I wrote something not long ago and found it both easier and much more difficult to write about the sex from the POV of someone not actually *having* the sex. It does make it more difficult to be descriptive about it.
