So... I told a lie and I'm scared of getting caught. It was a selfish lie. It's not a harmful lie, no one can get hurt, except over the deception... having been lied to and all.

but you gotta realise that some lies shouldn't cause guilt, in particular the one's that are actually doing some good! you seem to judge yourself way to harshly rupert, i think you could benefit from a soul-searching trip to Tibet
