MOVING

So, I have to move, AGAIN. My landlord wanted to raise my rent to $1250 (from $1100/mo) and said he'd go down to $1200, neither of which I can hack. So, now I'm on the street. My lease is up August 1, but I can move earlier if need be and it's no problem as long as they can rent the place. I wish I liked people more and I'd get a roommate again,

Oh boy - I can't believe this is happening to you, too! Them landlords are fucking ridiculously greedy little bastards!!!
I can't believe MA abolished rent control in the 90s. UGH!

I was just thinking yesterday that I miss you too! I'll be at the Orange party, of course.

Joey is staying put in his place and I'm going to ask my dad if he might contribute $100 a month to my NOT having to move. We'll see.

Definitely ask your dad to help out. Moving expenses are far more than $100 per month when you take first/last/security/fees into account.
