Camping in the Rain

So, I just took a look at the weather for this weekend in Stowe, VT. Looks like severe thunderstorms possible on Saturday and rain on Sunday. If it gets really bad, perhaps a one night stay will be in order, instead of a two nighter.

I am not going Friday because of a conflict with my sister's friend's flight arriving Friday afternoon. We were going to try going Saturday morning but if it it does rain I guess we will bail out. I am still donating my tent and sleeping bag to you guys.

Just thinking about it is making me feel soggy. I mean, everytime I've camped, which is many times, at least one night was a washout. So I'm used to it. But this time will be with my own gear, so I'm feeling more protective. I think my tent is going to arrive today! Joey is in my apt waiting for it to arrive. What a good housewife.
