I'm halfway to the floor before I wake up and realize that I'm thrashing in my sleep. I can't remember what I was dreaming about, but I know it wasn't a fun dream. My temples were pounding from lack of sleep, but I still smiled as Dawn came down the stairs. "Good morning Dawn." I tried to sound cheerful, but perhaps wasn't too successful.

Of course, I don't say it, only smile a little and wave. "Morning, Giles." I can tell that neither of us slept well, each for their own reasons. "Breakfast?" I ask as I point towards the kitchen.
