This edition of "reasons to" for
picspammy is brought to you by
pixilove66 and
cnnjunky who spend too much time on this list because they are obsessive-compulsive and neat freaks.
You know her as Mallory O'Brien, Leo McGarry's daughter but she's so much more...
pixilove66 says: She was strong, independent, witty, sarcastic and made of so much win. I was kind of disappointed that they didn't really utilize her character more throughout the 7 seasons. Maybe it was because the Sam/Mallory plot never really went any further than "potential" and finding reasons for her to go visit her father which would fit with the episode plots were bound to get repetitive. I don't know but I do know that it was the hope that Mallory was in an episode that kept me watching.
#1 She was Annie on Broadway... which also means that THE GIRL CAN SING!
We shouldn't even talk about how much I love Annie the musical. Okay. No... but what I will do is link you to the 20/20 segment on
Life After Tomorrow where you will hear her sing a bit. And if you want to hear more check out
her website.
#2 Patient X [Without A Trace: 4x12]
Episode Description: After therapist Gina Hill disappears, the team investigates and initially suspects that one of her patients may be involved. After discussions with Gina's fiancé and her own therapist, the team follows the trail of clues to a bartender named Vince with an unusual ability to get good women to do whatever he wants them to. Martin continues to struggle with his recovery.
Why mention it: May I redirect your attention the picture. And if that's not reason enough let me tell you it's one of the better Without A Trace episodes.
#3 Gillery's Little Secret
Gillery's Little Secret is a female-driven examination of the depth that lies between love and friendship. Gillery returns to the small town she fled for her 20th high school reunion, where a young girl seeking answers confronts her. However, her journey to answer these questions forces her to confront a past love, uncovering a well-kept secret only now forced into the light after eighteen years.

#3½ QED... opposite Alan Alda
Why only half a reason? Because that play is considered to be a 1½ character play. The major part is Richard Feynman. "Late that night, in the second act, the only other character in the play shows up. She's a very pretty young student, slightly tipsy from the after-the-play party. Her role in the drama is to help pull him out of the growing depression that his own condition and his memories of the death of his first wife, Arlene, have cast him into." [

#4 Religious Nuts
Exhibit A: Close To Home
She played a woman who claimed that God told her to murder her husband, but it turned out she only didn't want him to leave her.
Exhibit B: Pilot for The Closer
She played a girl who couldn't deal with the fact that the man she loved wasn't really a man but a woman. So she killed "him".
#5 Sagittarius
pixilove66 says: She's born in December so she totally rocks anyway.
cnnjunky thinks: *no further comment*
#6 Mistake [House: 2x08]
