Raven was patrolling in a way herself. The chaos of emotions in the dorms had driven her to the roof in an attempt to find some peace. She sent her Soul-Self soaring toward the town. The craving for violence was getting stronger and stronger.

She spied Claire below and watched her. The fool was sure to be attacked roaming about alone like that.

Claire was unaware that she was being watched from above. She was trying to find a good place to hide and possibly catch a few of the bloodsuckers unaware when they emerged in to the night.

The watching was too passive. Raven recalled her Soul-Self and teleported to Claire's location. "The sun is setting," she said. "You must return to the dorms."

"I'll be fine," Claire said, her tone cool. She had seen Raven around, of course, but she didn't really know anything about her. It was easier not to have close ties. "I want to try to stake a few vamps tonight."

There was a tsk'ing noise from behind Claire and if she turned around she'd see Chuck leaning against a tree. "Claire, Claire, Claire. You know you shouldn't be out here."

Clearly he was teasing since he was out here too. Call this his Peter impression.

Chuck was lucky that Claire recognized his voice and didn't immediately shoot him.

She did turn to face him though. "Chuck, Chuck, Chuck. You of all people should know that I don't bother with the rules."

"Maybe I just think one of these days you'll get some common sense," Chuck said. He tilted his head to the side, assessing her. "But I would hate it if you got responsible. Then who would keep me company out here?"
