I have family in Dallas, and man, I am so with you on the Galleria. That place is WONDERFUL. I remember when I was a toddler, my mother pushing around me with my aunt pushing my cousins in the dual stroller. They both looked so 80s. I skated in the rink a few times, but most vividly I remember when I was about 5 years old - I remember the skates were orange, and my mom was having so much fun (because it was before my stepfather and Penecoastalism), and everyone was falling on their asses. Las summers ago I had the best Caesar Salad with my aunt and cousin on, um, one of those 8 stories or however many it was, looking down on that same ice skating rink. That mall is also where I was introduced to M.A.C. eyeshadow, "juxt" to be precise. I'll never be the same. lol
Thank you for this entry - it brought back some good memories for me, Araceli.
You're welcome. I think the galleria had three stories. I wish our malls had skating rinks. The parks mall in dallas also had a skating rink. Wow, I didn't know you read my lj.
