Cally nodded as she stepped over to help. "Come on, let me take some of that," she said. "I'm kind of amazed. But he's sleeping and I'm just going to take the chance to relax."
Cally took the coffee, then turned to go back into the house.
A house that suddenly was no longer there. She stared, frozen in shock. Her breath hitched, her eyes widened.
She couldn't speak, couldn't make a sound. She just stared. Stared and blinked and hoped that when she opened her eyes each time she'd see the house again.
