Crabbe, Goyle and I went through Shaklebolt's house. Nothing terribly important or interesting there. Just a few letters in the mail. His last paycheck. Which I took 'cause I need the fucking money and it's not difficult getting this cashed somewhere in Knockturn so scowl all you want. Seems the Ministry believes he's at home. Pictures of him and Meadowes. Nothing we don't know.
Closet's empty except for a couple pairs of socks. The bastard packed up and left. Where ever he is, he's planning to stay there for a long time.
There's a letter from his mum though. With an address. Golye's nicked a family picture from the shelf for anyone who wants a reference. Took the frame too 'cause he said it was nifty. Anyone want to drop Mrs Shaklebolt a visit? Someone personable, I suggest.
