Glitter Shell Collection

Sep 08, 2010 00:02

I'll start making posts for all my collections, that will be updated from time to time so that all items from one serie can be easily fond in one place. So I'll start from my recent clam and pearl line as the first steps to my mermaid-themed collection.

I guess there's so way to get a set within a week? (I'm located in Germany)
It's so sad, they would have matched perfectly... =(

I-m afraid express shipping would get expensive for such a small package and I have no idea how long it actually takes - I'm shipping from Russia.

Hi,

I would like to thank you for your messages on loli_secret, because you took time to explain your point of view without putting blame on me.
I know now that I've to work hard if I want to make my own place in Lolita's world.

I also wanted few weeks ago to tell you that your creations are amazing. at this time I wondered if you bake the clay before sculpting it or not ?

Maybe I'll order a pony necklace to you one day, I'll see!

Have a nice day (or night ^^).
Sarah

I'm glad that I could be of any help. I'm also planning to make clothes, so I took some time to research, and since I find your work to have potential, I thought I'd share a few points.

Thanks=) I sculpt my items and then bake them - the clay gets really hard after baking so it would be impossible to sculpt.

Yes I understand now!!!

Woah you sculpt before bake ! You're really strong because fimo isn't easy to sculpt when it is hot, it's like chewing gum!

Well I've heard that it could be pre-bake so it's not totally hard, like some fimo canes.

Maybe I'll try, I wanted to make circus jewellery with my cat mascotte ^^

I look forward to see your clothes :)
Thank you!

You need to warm the clay in your hands so it becomes flexible enough to sculpt - canes are baked after they've been sculpted and then slices are used as glue-on decorations.
