As
the bomb raced towards its target, it began to transmit on as many frequencies as it could manage. The message it was transmitting was a simple one, repeated over and over: "Someone set us up the bomb." As the long range targeting sensors picked up on the signal that it had been scanning for, it adjusted its course to intercept the target.
The bomb received a homing transmission from somewhere inside its target. Most of this transmission was laughing. It was from
Knob the Exocomp. Knob thought it was funny that his captor had just made a log entry stating that "
things were going her way." What was going her way right now, literally, was the bomb.
The bomb continued to broadcast "Someone set us up the bomb" until its warp core breach occurred a mere 8 meters from the hull of the target. "Ouch," thought the bomb, briefly.
