I LOVE this. I don't even have a sweet tooth, but now, I'm craving cookies or chocolate or something, lol.

-- This is one of my favorite aspects of how you write Teyla. You mentioned in one of your DVD commentaries that Teyla tends to answer questions at "cross-angles," and she often answers the question behind the question being asked but not the one actually being asked. I thought that was a really profound observation, and I think it's one of those small details that really elevates your writing of Teyla ( ... )

Awww...what an adorable image this is. I love how Teyla describes his lips and sets it to contemplate on things of her people. Love that connection.

And I love that Ronon doesn't like milk!!! How freaking cute is he?

I love these explorations of the tiny bits of culture differences that are taken for granted, like milk and cookies :-P And only you could make eating Oreos this hot with the underlying bit of sweetness.

I was thinking about this before I started writing: would the Athosians have an equivalent kind of ritual? Because they're in tents, it's a lot easier to disturb people - no separate rooms in which one can raid the food stores and prep yourself something to eat late at night when everyone else is sleeping and you've got the munchies.

It'd be a different concept entirely.

And only you could make eating Oreos this hot with the underlying bit of sweetness.
