This was fantastic. I've always loved the idea of John choosing to live out his life in Pegasus, where he really belongs, and for him to get to do it with Ronon by his side is just happy-making to a ridiculous degree.
I love both reunion scenes. The one with Teyla didn't make me melt like the one with Ronon, for obvious reasons, but it was still true to her and John.
And I liked that Rodney didn't want to come. Is that weird? Atlantis to him doesn't mean the same thing as it does to John, so it made perfect sense. He would value what he has on earth higher. Nothing wrong with that.

Plus, I think, you know, there's a big difference between 'let's go back and take Atlantis where I can be a brilliant scientist' and 'let's go and live on Athos where there's nothing for an astro-physicist to do.' And Rodney does want to be brilliant and be recognised for it.

I could see John doing just what you had him do, and I love that he feels more at home in Pegasus, with Ronon, than he does on earth. The kiss was yummy ...
Ronon, meeting up with Larrin? LOL. I could see that, too. This could be a great AU, you know ... (hint, hint).

I so want to write a story where Larrin's front and centre, I thought she was cool, I just don't know what the story is. Which is probably why she keeps popping up in other stories.

being methodically foolish, as it were.
Ooh, I like that phrase-there's a logic to his probably poor decisions.
