After just reading Thin Thread Left, which I loved, this, by contrast, was a really nice, romantic story to read. I love John/Ronon stories and this one ends so beautifully, so hopeful for the future.
John giving up everything to be with Ronon - just beautiful.

I think it's kind of the flip side of TTL, actually - they're both about how the people are more important than the place, and leaving the place that should be home, except in this it works out happily :)
