So I passed my state licensing exam for Life, Accident and Health yesterday.  I'm relieved, though wish I had done better.  It's basically a pass-fail, with a 70% required to pass.  I got a 78%.  Not as well as I would have liked, but since it doesn't matter a whit, I'm cool with it.  Next up is property and casualty

I agree with both of you, on general principle. I'm sure as I get into actually working with people to set up insurance, I'll fall more on the side of upkeeping insurance rather than saying 'damn the man,' mostly because I'll meet people who get totally boned because their husband/wife/mom/dad didn't carry enough to let them keep the house, whatever.
