Cherry Blossom Festival Picspam
We could not have had better weather Sunday. Perfect temperature, barely a cloud in the sky, and beautiful scenery. This is the second time I've been to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Fairmount Park in Philly and it was just gorgeous. Was a exellent ending to a monotonous Spring Break. Since I just upload the pics I took I thought I'd share.
They had quite a few cosplayers there. More than I seen last year. I loved that female Naruto's dress. It looked like an original design though I don't watch the show so I dunno.
The Japanese Tree House. I wish I got more pic sof the building itself but the gardens were gorgeous.
Mostly random pics I took of the various flowers.
And finally the cherry blossoms themselves. They've so pretty. There weren't as many trees in bloom as last year but the weathers has been all over the place lately.
Took at complete random as we were leaving. I really like the camera flare. :3
The next set of pics is from last year but since I didn't really get many pics of people this year I thought I'd include them. :)
( The girl in the middle is my friend Rianne. She was an exchange student from the Netherland. I miss her...)
There were also some venders with various food and goods. I wasn't all that hungery but I had some Green Tea ice cream. Was delicious.
Oh last year I got a bamboo sword ( I knew the japanese name for it but it's slipped my mind) It's exellent for little brother repellant but I also actually taught myself a litte kendo.
End thus ends my epic picspam of the Sakura Festival. I hope I get to go again next year.
