I have no idea what to do with this space in my room, and when i try to describe it to people i don't think they understand too well what the fuck i'm talking about. It being empty bothers me, but i don't want to block light, as the window being so far back already makes my room darker in the afternoon

Hang some sort of drapey treatment above/around the nook that the window is in, then it won't interfere with the light but it'll look purty. Add folding tv dinner table, put keys, condoms and other assorted knick-knacks on it. Or get a beanbag chair and embrace your inner hipster.

I'm tempted by the bean bag idea, i hadn't thought of fitting something to sit on in there. i was thinking too like one of those short but wide cabinet things, and i can put the bean bag sort of in front of it....

I believe Home Depot sells books on how to paint and decorate spaces so they look brighter, bigger, etc

I used to watch "changing rooms" for all the design tips!
But I'm no longer up at that time XD
